Is Your Check Engine Light On? Routine Chiropractic Care Treats the Source NOT the Symptoms!

The nervous system consists of the brain, spinal cord, sensory organs, and all of the nerves that connect these organs with the rest of the body.

Together, these organs are responsible for the control of the body and communication among its parts. When there is interference, we most likely experience dysfunction, disease and/or disorders. Every muscle, cell, tissue and organ is affected. There are many ways to help keep our bodies healthy and strong. A great option is chiropractic care. Chiropractic treatment is a deliberate approach in maintaining the natural functioning of the human system as a whole. Let’s stop hiding behind the facade of a healthy body by our outer appearance alone. Chiropractic keeps the brain in proper communication with the body to ensure a healthy life from the inside out.

Even though our bodies are extremely complex, self-regulating and self-healing organisms that do not need much help to function properly, interference occurs and creates an obstruction.

These signals weaken or block the main signals throughout the body causing disease and dysfunction. The brain and nervous system controls every task in the body. They tell your heart to beat, your lungs to breathe, and your blood to flow. We are constantly using our nervous system every second of the day. While driving your car down the street, our senses are on alert experiencing everything using our cognitive skills for brain function, and motor skills for movement.

Now let’s look at your car in the same way. It is a well oiled machine with wires of operation running through its internal system constructed to function at its BEST proficiency.

If not properly cared for, it breaks down. The internal circuitry stops working. You are stuck in a shell of a non-functioning system. The car may look good on the outside, but the internal components are unoperational. We service our vehicles with check ups and repairs on a regular basis so that we are able to freely move about. Back to our question we started with. If you check engine light was on what would you do? Slap a piece of duct tape over it and pretend like everything is ok? Just like medicine that duct tape would just be blocking the problem making you feel is if everything is ok! Health is not merely an absence of symptoms. It is much more! If you Why would we not help our bodies to maintain optimal performance in the same way?

Chiropractic care is a focused practice that concentrates its technique to better increase function of the brain, which sends messages down the spinal cord and out through the spinal nerves to every single muscle, cell tissue, and organ in the body.

It is essentially the body’s electrical wiring. The nervous system controls your digestive system, reproductive system, immune system, stress levels, and your general well-being. What happens if these messages start getting interrupted before they get to where they need to go? The most common difficulty people have is pain, and much of that is nerve-related. Functional difficulties occur, but 80% of nerve interference causes NO SYMPTOMS! This is why it is important to maintain your body, to straighten out any misalignments with chiropractic care, to insure that the nervous system is in check at all times. Check out our blog on the “Silent Killer” as well as “The Three T’s” to learn how nerve interference is caused and the problems it can lead to in our bodies if left uncorrected.
